The fender Mustang is still known but is a 3/4 size guitar and it has its own unique sound. The scale length was about 22″ andlater came with the 24″ scale.
The 1966 and 69 models are collectibles.
I used to own one 30 years ago and should have kept it. They have a good demand and are rare. They started in 1964 and had a good tremolo system as well.

Aside from that, the guitar plays very well, and has a very responsive neck, nice finish , good gianon the pickups as well. They are small and light weight.
