USA Deluxe Fender
Fender usa standard strat or Fender usa deluxe?
Is a Fender deluxe stratocaster as good as a standard. I intend to buy one of these soon but am not sure which one. The reason I ask this is that the deluxe has cobalt noisless pickups and the S1 switch and I am curious to know if anyone has had the opportunity to use both and compare.
I bought the Deluxe last June, and it has been one of the best purchases I have ever made! The guitar cannot be compared to the Standard American. Better finish, biflex truss, locking tuners, hotter and quieter pickups, abalone dot inlays, better paints and colors, and jumbo frets! You cannot go wrong! Trust me, I was skeptical too, but after owning this guitar, I know that it will last me a lifetime. The thing never, ever goes out of tune even with whammy bar use. You could bend a string around the world and it would stay in tune. Just remember to have it setup with the floating tremolo bridge a little higher than flush to the body so you can still use the whammy and have great action. I have the Amber body with the rosewood fretboard. My only regret was that I didn’t get the maple fretboard. GOod luck!
