What would a 1995 USA Fender Stratocaster be worth?
Hi! If you are describing a true like-new no-blemish-whatsoever guitar that has virtually no fret wear and was kept in a case for 14 years as a collectible, then it would be worth the price of an equivalent brand-new American Stratocaster to the right buyer (see http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3907.m37.l1313%26satitle%3D110396864951%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1&item=110396864951&viewitem=&salenotsupported for a very nice example, which did not sell the first time around); however, if it is a typical player instrument that is aesthetically and functionally in excellent condition, you will likely get $600 to $800 for the guitar. Unfortunately, the non-vintage marketplace is a whole different arena, where only certain specialty models (Custom Shop, Special Editions, etc.) tend to appreciate with time. Hope this helps.
