Vintage Gibson Humbuckers?

I have a couple of old Gibson humbuckers I suspect to be 1958 originals but i’m not sure how to verify it. One has “PAT. NO. 2,737,842″ stamped in the back, the other only has a “Patent Applied For” sticker on it. How can I found out if they actually are 1958 originals?
