is the fender telecaster highway 1 a USA tele? or is it made in mexico or somewhere else?

i really want a US tele, but cant afford the one that says like” american” or “american deluxe” so just wandered about the highway 1.

The Highway 1 teles are made in the USA. Some of them are nice, some are not. Every guitar comes from a different tree and are assembled by different people, thus making it necessary to play many guitars of the same model. Just because it says USA on it doesn’t mean it’s a great guitar.
